Welcome to Edith Cavell Elementary School. The students, staff, and parents are proud to be part of the Cavell family. The staff is dedicated to the life long learning of your children and to creating partnerships with parents and the community.

Edith Cavell has a detailed Code of Conduct which is an integral part of how we approach day to day activities individually and as a community.  The code in short can be reasonably expressed by the following statements: Take Care of Yourself, Take Care of Others, Take Care of This Place.

We are proud of the work that has been done in recent years in the areas of Social Responsibility, Literacy, and Active Healthy Living.  We continue to support and further develop learning in these important areas.

Our school goal for the 2009-2010 is in the area of Numeracy as we collectively try to improve the teaching and learning in this important area.
