Each B.C. school follows the Ministry of
Education's provincially prescribed curriculum. Cavell offers a safe and supportive learning environment for all students
in the pursuit of personal and academic success. There is a strong focus on literacy with Cavell being a K-7 Literacy
Project School.
Our students are also involved in many experiential and hands-on activities in the areas of Social Studies, Science,
and Math. Our intermediate students benefit from the talents of the music teacher who teaches music to all grade 4-7
students. We also offer a Strings Program to all our grade 4-7 studnets.
In-school support is provided by the resource teachers for ESL students as well as for students who require additional
support in the areas of literacy or numeracy.
